EWin Knight Series Ergonomic Computer Gaming Office Chair – Hardware Review

EWinRacing’s latest entry in the racing back gaming chair, is an affordable and extremely comfortable chair in a market saturated with gaming-oriented furniture. Comfortable and as classy as you can get in the gaming world while still being purpose-built, the Knight is a durable chair for the every-person gamer and though the model that I picked out is black with yellow highlights and the four face buttons of a PlayStation controller embroidered on the seat back, is still subtle enough that it doesn’t stick out the way most “gaming” furniture design do; if you’d like to see more on it, head on over to EWin’s website, but in the meantime, here are some of my thoughts on the E-Win Knight Series gaming chair.

First and foremost, huge shout out to the folks over at EWinRacing. When I first received the chair, which shipped in near-record time (only a two-day wait, which is spectacular as that’s in the realm of Amazon Prime shipping) I was a bit skeptical as the instructions that were sent were actually for the EWin Calling Series chair. Fortunately, a quick tweet and I had a PDF of the instruction manual within an hour, though not that one would need it; this chair is not only comfortable, but easy to build on account of it shipping in about 4 pieces. Even though the full color instructions (something I rarely see these days) were incorrect, EWin’s extremely fast response to the plight was reassuring that they stand behind their product, something not many “gaming” or “racing-back” chair manufacturers do (based on personal experience with three separate “gaming” chairs).

Assembly took about 20 minutes and then I was up and running (well, sitting) and like any new piece of furniture it needs a break-in period. Fortunately, with everything going on and there being a Stay At Home order in my State, the Knight was about to be broken in in record time. Over the past three weeks I have spent anywhere from 14 to 18 hours a day in the chair and am thrilled to report that one of my biggest concerns was unfounded. That concern? Durability.

In every sub-$250 gaming-oriented chat that I have owned, even under light usage, has started to break down within mere weeks of ordering; from the cushions simply breaking down to lifts and backrest angles simply breaking, every single one, with the exception of an AmazonBasics “executive” chair (that cost just shy of $200), have been duds. Even the AmazonBasics chair, while still being comfortable, squeaks and groans like no other when my slightly-under-weight 13-year-old daughter sits in it. The EWinRacing Knight series though? I’ve put this chair through its paces and the only issue I have found with it is that it seems to want to always gradually rotate to the left. Annoying at times, but generally not something I can tell until I’ve been at the computer for 8+ hours. Not exactly end of the world and minimal given the fact that the seat cushion, headrest, and lower lumbar support are all in top-notch condition.

Now, I’m not exactly a large guy nor am I a small one, but when the good folks at EWinRacing reached out to me with the opportunity to review the Knight series chair I was a little confused as to why they’d want my height and weight; I’ve bought plenty of articles of furniture (that’s lasted quite some time) without needing to divulge that I’m not only short, but slightly on the husky side, so I was a bit taken aback. The reason, come to find out, is because EWinRacing has specific lines tailored towards all manner of sizes so no matter the height/weight of the person looking into a chair, they will have you covered. This was, to me, a fairly not-so-subtle wake-up call that this is a manufacturer who is so confident in their product (with good reason) and so concerned with the comfort of their customers, that they’ve tailored brands for everyone, even though not everyone is built the same way.

As I was putting the seat together I was a little concerned that it seemed large, and even sitting in it for the first time I felt like I had extra space at my hips that I just wasn’t used to. After a week of using the Knight, I plopped my chonky tail-end in my AmazonBasics chair and felt damn-near claustrophobic. The Knight’s wide seat, flaring armrests, and broader backrest are so damned comfortable that you don’t realize it until you sit in a chair that prescribes to the “One Size Fits All” mantra and oh boy is it noticeable. More noticeable? That the leatherette has yet to stretch around the seams and that all of the cushions are still in pristine shape. I still cannot get over how nice the Knight looks after nearly 300 hours of constant abuse. If I didn’t know any better, I’d think that this chair was magicked into existence by the whimsical furniture gods, slapped with a sub-$250 price tag, and shipped out the door.

So, my final thoughts? In this day-and-age it is about making sure your money is well spent on durable products that are going to last while being faithfully supported by a company that truly values its customers. It is clear, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that the folks over at EWinRacing fit the bill and deserve all the praise that one can bestow. They have taken a style of chair that has really taken off these past few years, made it comfortable, durable, and classy, while staying within the bounds of general affordability and in doing so bypasses nearly every pitfall the saturated gaming furniture market has.

What is even better? The awesome folks over at EWinRacing have provided us with a discount code just for you to take a little off the top… and by “little” I’m talking a whopping 20% off your order!

The Review

I’ve got a couple videos to start this off with, the first one is the unboxing video so you can see all the parts and everything that’s included and how well it’s packaged:

EwinRacing EWin Knight Series Gaming Office Chair Unboxing

The second video is something new, I recorded myself actually assembling the EWin Knight Series Gaming Chair. I did this because I wanted to show just how easy it is to do and just how fast it is, just over 10 minutes in total really. I’ve assembled two of these chairs already so my time might be quicker than someone who never made one, but it shouldn’t take much longer really. You can watch the whole thing if you want or skip through, but you can see it’s easy to assemble, the instructions are easy to follow and all the parts and even extras and tools are included for you. Click here to watch assembly video.

The chair ships in a sturdy and very large box and it’s heavy, Fedex tracking said the box weighed in at 56lbs. Everything is wrapped in plastic or bubble wrap, depending on the part, for protection and it’s layered with cardboard between for even more protection. The box is taped closed but it also has plastic straps as well.

Inside of the box you’ll find another smaller box with all the parts and accessories inside of it. You’ll find the casters, assorted plastic parts, mounts, pneumatic tube, tools, extra screws and nuts along with white cloth gloves and of course the instructions.

ewinknight4 ewinknight5

Everything is wrapped and protected during shipping and it arrives in pristine condition. The Knight Series chair I got for review is white and black in color but you can also get red/black, blue/black or yellow/black colors.

ewinknight12 ewinknight13

The last two Ewin chairs I got came with two pillows but Ewin has added a third at the top, a large pillow for your head that covers the whole head rest section. It attaches with elastic straps and plastic clips so you can move it or remove it easily. I’ll be honest I’m not quite sure about the new big pillow, it’s ok when you’re leaning back far and relaxed but when the chair is upright it’s not quite comfortable to have that large pillow there.

ewinknight14 ewinknight15

The other two pillows are the same, one for your back and one for your head. There is a set of elastic straps that go through the chair and up around the back, these are fastened with plastic clips. The two pillows have elastic straps and plastic clips on them as well, the pillows attach to the main straps on the chair and can be slid up and down the chair for your comfort.

ewinknight16 ewinknight17

ewinknight18

The Knight series chair is quality made, no excess material, even thick stitching all around. The covering of the chair is made of a synthetic leather material which is durable and it looks nice, underneath is triple density foam and a solid steel frame for support. The armrests are nice and large and what Ewin calls 2D, they slide up and down for comfort and lock into place, there’s a button on the side you push to unlock and move them.

ewinknight19 ewinknight20

ewinknight21 ewinknight22

The chair itself is well made and sturdy and it comes with a very solid and sturdy metal five star base which it and the casters attach to.

ewinknight23 ewinknight24

Assembly is very easy and quick, it took me just over ten minutes to get it all assembled and ready to use, I’d say that’s fast. The instructions are easy to follow with text and pictures of exactly what to do. Some of the screws are already in place for you, just remove them, attach the part, put the screws back in so there’s no need to try and figure out which screw goes where, I like that system as it makes things quick and easy.

The Ewin Knight Series chair was actually an early Christmas present for my 13 year old son Vinnie and he just loves it. I had him pose with it for a holiday themed picture for the review.

Since it’s holidays here’s a few pictures of the Knight and Champion series chairs a little decorated and ready for Christmas:

For the last picture of this review I wanted to show you all three of my Ewin gaming chairs, it’s like my Ewin gaming chair family. From left to right they are the Hero Series, Knight Series and Champion Series. The oldest of the chairs is the red and black Hero Series which I reviewed back in May 2017, the chair is still in great condition except for some slight damage our kitten did to it, some claw holes as he likes to climb it and for some reason he chewed on the corners of the pillows. The cat damage didn’t have anything to do with the chair quality itself of course, the chair is fine, it still works great and it’s just as comfortable as the first day I sat in it. The all black chair is my personal chair, it’s the Champion Series which I reviewed in December 2017, I’ve used it everyday since, it’s excellent and very comfortable still, no issues with it at all.

ewinknight36

Conclusion

I’ve had plenty of chairs over the years, I was averaging having to buy a new one every year really as they just didn’t last and lost their comfort after a time, but this hasn’t happened with the EWin chairs I’ve owned, they’re still comfortable and like new ever after more than a year of using everyday. The Knight Series of chairs is EWin’s newest chairs so I can’t attest to their longevity right now but I’m fairly certain that it will last just as long, if not longer than the other EWin chairs I own as it’s the same quality material and sturdy build.

The chair is made from PU or synthetic leather and it looks very nice, this material is durable and easy to clean. The pattern is subtle but stylish, it’s mostly black with what I would call white accents.

Assembly is quick and easy, it took me just over ten minutes to assemble it thanks to the easy instructions and the fact that some of the screws or bolts are already in place for you so you don’t have to figure it out for yourself, it just makes things easier really.

New this year is a third pillow for your head to rest on and I’m not sure about it just yet as it’s a bit big, I think it could be because I’m not accustomed to it yet. All three pillows though are soft and comfortable, at first I wasn’t sure about them but now I can’t sit in the chair without them.

The chair is very comfortable thanks to its adjustability, you can sit straight up or incline almost flat and then there’s every angle in between as well. I use mine for work and play, have the chair up and then recline it to sit back and relax and watch a movie.

The casters move easily and quietly, they move just as smooth on carpet as they do on bare floors or a mat.

All in all the Knight Series is worthy of bearing the name Ewin Racing for sure, it’s an excellent quality and comfortable chair.

I can highly recommend the EWin Knight Series gaming chair or any EWin chair actually, it’s just a truly great chair that’s comfortable and will last a long time surely.

Also if you want to buy this chair or any other E-Win Racing chair you can get 15% off by using code ‘technogog’ when you check out.

EWINRACING CHAMPION SERIES GAMING CHAIR REVIEW

QUALITY AND COMFORT.

I can say that in my decade plus of coverage one thing I have never done is review something I put my butt into. Gaming chairs are a dime a dozen. It seems like everyone has one, and until this review I had never used one. I always thought any old office chair would suffice, no reason to pay the extra money for those colorful seats I saw in all the popular streams on Twitch.

Now after spending a couple weeks with the gaming chair I can say I was wrong, extremely wrong. The EwinRacing gaming chair is the most comfortable seat I have used when checking out games, well outside of a full-on lounger of course. It’s design is sleek and its comfort unparalleled. For those of us that can lose hours sitting at a computer desk or in front of a TV know, comfort is king.

I live for comfort!

MSRP: $349.99
MANUFACTURER: EWINRACING
PRICE I’D PAY: $349.99

When my unit arrived it was in a massive box. Unpacking it was simple and each piece laid out perfectly. Everything needed to assemble it is in the box, including a pair of gloves to keep the nasty grease from getting all over my fingers. Trust me this was one of the most helpful things in the box. Grease from chairs like this is absolutely disgusting to clean up. While the tools are there, I decided to use my own set. Assembly took less than 30 minutes and the instructions were very clear. Anyone could assemble this beast.

Now that it was assembled, it was time for the ultimate test. I am a large guy, most chairs only handle a certain amount of weight. The EwinRacing chair boasts a steel frame that supposedly supports over 300lbs, which is more than enough. I put it through the ringer. Sitting in various positions, plopping down into it, it never budged. This is one solid construction.

What I also love is its design. From pictures you can see the chair conforms around the body, making longer sessions more comfortable. I used this chair for a full eight-hour workday and my back thanked me for it. The lower lumbar support pillow is extremely comfortable as well as being adjustable. It really helps for long sessions. The chair can also recline back and forward giving the perfect angle for extended sessions.

Not everything is perfect though. The head rest pillow feels almost useless. I could never find a good spot to rest my neck into it. It was always too close, or too far. The arm rests also have issues. While I love that they are completely adjustable, they feel a little loose in practice. I could adjust their height, angle, and even slide them in and out, but they wobble a little too much. Especially when in comparison to how solid the rest of the design is. At first I thought I had broken them, but after some research I realized I was not the only one having issues.

Another great thing about EwinRacing chairs is their design. They offer them in various designs and colors. I was able to get the red and black design, which is perfect as those are my favorite combination of colors. As I mentioned earlier the way it conforms to my body is also stellar. While I have not had the opportunity to compare this to other gaming chairs, it simply blows my standard office chair out of the water. The comfort is unmatched.

One thing I would like to see added is a leg rest at some point. Nothing would be better than reclining with my feet up after a long work day playing some Overwatch. While it is a nitpick, it is still something I would love to see.

The EwinRacing Gaming Chair is more than worth its price tag. As someone who spends an abundance of time sitting in a chair in front of a screen it has done wonders for my back support. No longer do I get out of my chair reaching for my lower back. The design is great and its construction is super solid. I feel like this chair will last me years and years to come. If you are in the market for a new gaming or office chair I recommend dropping the few extra dollars and picking one up. As I get older I realize that comfort in my favorite hobby, as well as my day-to-day life is imperative.

You can snag one of these chairs at the official EwinRacing site. Be sure to use code “ztgd” to get a 15% discount on purchase!

EWin Champion Series Gaming Chair Review – Comfort and Stability

ewin champion series gaming chair review

I’ve had my fair share of terrible office chairs. “A chair’s a chair,” right? Wrong. There’s something to be said for spending a little bit more time and money finding a good gaming chair, something that will provide support, stability, and comfort, especially when you spend a lot of time in front of a computer or TV. Most of my waking hours are spent in front of at least one of these two screens, so I jumped at the opportunity when Ewin Racing offered one of their Champion Series gaming chairs for review.

The chair arrived in a fairly large box. This gaming chair is a good sized piece of furniture, so be prepared to have a mildy annoyed UPS driver. After lugging the package inside, I set out to put the gaming chair together. Assembly is pretty easy, and most of it came already put together. I simply had to attach the seat back to the bottom, assemble the base, and put it all together. As easy as it is, I’d recommend two people for the job, just to help hold the pieces steady while screwing them in. The package comes with everything you need to put it together, so from the moment you get the box, you can set up your gaming chair without any delay.

In order to offer a great amount of stability and comfort, the seat portion of the gaming chair is made of a solid steel frame and high-density memory foam. This isn’t the cheap stuff, which means the bucket seat feels like a hug. I’m relatively average weight, and I never felt that the chair was either providing too much give in the cushion, nor too firm to be comfortable. If Goldilocks were to sit in this chair, I’m sure she’d say it was just right. As the balance between my couch (way too soft), and my little plastic desk chair (way too hard), Ewin Racing provides a seat that feels great.

Adjusts to Fit You

The Champion Series gaming chair is very adjustable as well, to ensure that any person sitting in it can feel comfortable. The armrests move in four dimensions (swivel, in and out, back and forward, up and down), and though I am more than happy to have the ability to fine tune where they seat, the number of moving parts make these feel like the cheapest part of the chair. There’s a height adjustment that can raise or lower the seat by more than four inches, which is a pretty significant amount. For a tall person like myself, there’s even a point where the chair can get too high for me and my feet dangle just above the ground.

ewin champion series gaming chair review 2

A recline feature allows you to kick the seat back up to 155 degrees, and a tilt function lets you lean back slightly with adjustable tension. leaning the seat back a little bit took the chair from daytime working to evening relaxing very quickly, though I didn’t dare go back too far. The five-point base offers some stability, the center pole on the bottom of the chair seems like it is too far forward to allow for a comfortable full lean. Admittedly the chair never fell over while I was reclining in it, but there’s still a fear of what might happen if a kitten were to jump on me and throw the weight distribution off. The chair is actually engineered to support this full recline though, so that phobia is merely psychological.

A couple of pads come with the gaming chair, one for lumbar support on your back and a pillow for your head. The lumbar support is a great piece and the positioning is easily adjustable using the straps that attach it to the chair. As someone who tends to slouch way too much, it has really helped with my posture. The head/neck pillow, on the other hand, feels entirely pointless. It’s nearly impossible to adjust the position as it always slides down, and it’s far too small to really provide any added support to the head/neck area. It’s definitely more useful when reclining a little bit, so I’m glad the option is included, and it’s easy to remove if it ever starts to annoy me too much.

A Hefty Piece of Furniture

While I keep referring to this chair as a gaming chair, it doubles perfectly well as an office chair as well, given you don’t mind the bright colors. In fact, from behind, the red parts of the chair are merely accents. That’s one aspect of gaming chairs I’ve never been able to get into. The designs are full of bright colors, logos, and they just scream “extreme gamer!” Is it too much to ask for the same comfort and solid build without feeling like I need to take up streaming Fortnite daily? If these gaming chair companies could make something with a few more modern design sensibilities, they could vastly open up their potential market from the gamer bros and Twitch streamers to a more moderate crowd just looking for a comfortable chair to sit in.

Splashes of red not fitting into my home decor aside, I love this chair and I can’t stop using it. It sits squarely in the middle of my living room, giving me a seat closer to my TV. I find it even more comfortable than vegging out on the couch, and after using it regularly for a little more than a week, I’m not beset with the same back aches that my couch often gave me. Whether I’m gaming or writing up this review, the Ewin Champion Series gaming chair is my seat of choice. Yes, that includes in front of the TV in my living room.

ewin champion series gaming chair review 1

Without having had other PC gaming chairs, I can’t make a fair comparison to other brands, but after working in an office for a decade of my life, I can safely say it’s far more comfortable than any office chair I had during that time. You might be able to find a cheaper office chair at Walmart, Ikea, or any number of other furniture stores, but they’d be hard pressed to offer the same level of comfort that this chair does. Those other seats might look a lot more like the picturesque version of an office chair, but I’m at a point in my life where comfort overtakes style. That’s why there’s a sizable red and black chair sitting in the middle of my living room.

If you’re looking for a comfortable piece of office furniture at a relatively affordable price (for gaming chairs), the Ewin Champion Series gaming chair is a great choice. It’s a solid chair that feels built to last and provides more comfort and stability that any other office chair I’ve ever used. If you don’t mind the colored racing stripes look, Ewin Racing gaming chairs are well worth the price to maintain the back health of those constantly sitting in front of a screen.

The chair reviewed is an Ewin Racing Champion Series in red. You can browse the full selection of Ewin Racing gaming chairs over on their website.

-WIN Hero Series Gaming Chair Review

Intro

It seems like not to long ago the first gaming chairs came out, I was so disinterested in them.  Why would you charge so much for a chair, it can’t be that comfortable,… can it? Last year I came to find I was so wrong and these things are incredibly comfortable, so much more than almost all of their  pc gaming chairs you can find in your local office supplies store.  With that, I introduce you to my review of the E-Win Hero Series HR-BC3D Computer Gaming Chair.

Let’s go over some of the features:

Features

  • 16mm diameter V Durable Steel Frame
    • 1.5mm thick coat to prevent rusting
  • Aluminum Five-Star Base
  • High elasticity and high quality 1.2mm thick PU Leather Surface (Polyurethane)
  • Embroidered Ewin logo on headrest and pillows.
    • Included Pillows
      • Lower Lumbar
      • Neck rest
  • High back with integrated headrest
  • 2D Armrests (Up/Down)
    • PU Surface
  • Seat Height Adjustable
  • Level Operated Back Recliner
  • Tilt lock and Tilt Control Mechanism
    • Tilt Tension control
  • 85° to 155°-degree tilting for back
  • 120MM Class-4 Gas Lift Piston
    • Supporting up to 330lbs/150kg
  • Cold Molding Foam
    • High Density Memory Foam
  • 360° Swivel
  • 3, 5 and 10 Year Warranty (Explained later in the review)

These boxes are always so big, but of course there is a big cushy comfy chair in there after all so it is to be expected.  So let’s check out the unboxing video so we can see what’s inside.

Quite a few things to go through, and I do apologize there was a manual but in the confusion, I had lost it.  Once we were approached for the opportunity for the chair, I picked the one I wanted and they started packaging everything just for me.  Towards the end, when they were about to ship it I had realized I picked the wrong one and contact them to change the chair and that’s where the mix up occurred.  They shipped me the chair I wanted, but kept the other chairs manual inside, it was the manual for the Champion Series, not the Hero Series I had the final selection on.

No worries though, later in this review I show you all how to build it, so you can use that video as a guide.

Here are links to both sets, in case you are curious.  If you are going to purchase one, stay tuned till the end of this review as I have a coupon to save you a bit of cash.

Champion Series: https://www.ewinracing.com/13-champion-series

OK, now that you are back from that, let’s jump over to the Piece by Piece section so that we can go over each piece in this kit.

EWin Racing Flash Series XL Gaming Chair Review

INTRODUCTION

ewin racing flash xla

Just like with most gaming peripherals like keyboards, mice, pads, headsets and even LCD screens ergonomic bucket chairs have also flooded the market (perhaps a little faster than we were expecting). However although there are countless models for people to choose from that have different shapes, features and colors there aren’t that many actually aimed towards larger people and that’s not really hard to tell since out of our 12 gaming chair reviews only 2 are really aimed towards such consumers. Now as many of you are well aware currently most gaming peripherals manufacturers have released such products and although not all of them actually make their very own gaming chairs (thank OEM manufacturers for that) it still would be best if such models were not as hard to come across. EWin Racing may not be the very first gaming chair manufacturer to come in mind but they offer an entire line of gaming chairs designed to cater to the needs of larger people called the Flash Series XL and with us we have their brand new black and red model.
EWinRacing Chair was newly founded in 2016 after being a leader OEM office chair manufacturer. With the development in design and research, we strive for a professionalization in gaming chair field. Even more in order to bring you a healthier and relaxing environment we will continuously pursue humanism in design and manufacturing ergonomic gaming chairs. What’s more our strict quality inspection process and standard ensures you a better chair for better life. Visit www.ewinracing.com for more information on our products.

What makes the Flash Series XL stand out from most gaming chairs in the market today is its target audience since its frame was designed for people up to 2 meters tall and 300Kg heavy (89cm tall backrest with 57cm wide seat). Unfortunately although the Flash Series XL line does feature a reinforced steel frame (15mm in thickness) since it uses the same class-4 gaslift as with the rest of their models the maximum supported weight (seat/backrest included) is actually no more than 150Kg. Other features include a PU leather cover, foam density of up to 60Kg/M3 (obviously for the seat), 4 directional adjustable armrests (height/position/orientation), removable head and lumbar pillows, 70mm nylon caster wheels (EWin says 3 inch ones but these are actually 70mm and not 75mm in diameter), backrest adjustment (up to 155-160 degrees) and the somewhat classic tilt/rocking (up to 12 degrees) and height adjustment mechanism we find with most desk chairs.

EWin Racing ships the Flash XL gaming chair inside a large box that has their logo on all sides.

The chair parts were packed extremely well as you can see from the above picture.

The 5-star aluminum base was placed at the top of the box so we took that out first followed by the backrest which has both removable pillows attached.

The large seat was next (the 4D armrests are already attached).

Next we took out the five 70mm caster wheels, instructions manual, large size gloves, two Alen keys, three small round taps and the two plastic side covers.

EWin packs the typical butterfly tilt/rocking and height adjustment mechanism with the Flash Series XL so that came out next along with 3 Allen screws and the class-4 gaslift with its plastic cover.

ASSEMBLY

Once again we started assembly of the chair by mounting the 70mm caster wheels to the 5-star aluminum base.

It’s the 3rd time we’ve received a gaming chair with large caster wheels.

Placing the class-4 gaslift with its plastic cover on the 5-star base was the next step.

The base of the seat has a total of three green elastic bands for increased support.

As you can all see each 4D armrest is attached to the seat with no less than 4 Allen screws.

Mounting the butterfly mechanism requires a total of 4 Allen screws as seen above.

To mount the backrest onto the seat you will have to use two Allen screws on each side (a small opening is placed between the two Allen screws).

After that you will need to place the plastic covers and the screw taps again as seen above.

The upper body is now complete and I have to admit that it looks very nice.

FINISHED LOOKS

The Flash Series XL gaming chair looks very good and is actually among the top 3 chairs to arrive in our lab with as much foam density.

The PU leather used may not compete with the one used in the X-Comfort by Thermaltake or with the one of the EPIC by Noblechairs but it’s still very good.

The company logo is placed on both the head and lumbar pillows.

The armrests can be height adjusted from 29cm all the way up to 36.5cm.

Just like all 4D armrests the top can move forward, backwards, left, right and diagonally to suit your style.

This is the rear of the Flash Series XL gaming chair.

EWin uses a head pillow that features a clip, not something we see a lot.

Although the backrest doesn’t fall all the way (180 degrees) still it does fall up to 155-160 degrees and thanks to the good amount of padding it’s very comfortable.

CONCLUSION

ewin racing flash xlb

We first heard of EWin Racing quite recently but after checking their Flash Series XL gaming chair we have a pretty good idea as to why they’ve been the OEM go to manufacturer by some popular gaming peripheral companies. You see the Flash Series XL is not only one of the two largest gaming chairs to ever reach our lab but it also features a very good level of quality, plenty of padding (foam density), large caster wheels, reinforced steel frame, 4D adjustable armrests and its backrest can drop up to 155-160 degrees. Unfortunately by using the classic butterfly tilt/rocking mechanism the chair doesn’t feel as sturdy as it would had EWin Racing used the Z-support tilt/rocking mechanism found in many high-end models so we really hope they will eventually start using that as well. Oh and did we mention that the Flash XL series is available in several different colors and designs? Check the above picture for some of them.
EWin Racing claims that their chairs are affordable compared to their competition but after checking the price tag of the Flash Series XL Gaming Chair it doesn’t seem to be quite right (some of their other models however are quite affordable). To be more specific you can currently get the Flash Series XL model for USD429 inside the USA (EWin USA) and 389Euros inside the EU (EWin EU) a price tag which is not that far off from let’s say that of the X-Comfort by Thermaltake. The good news is that the Flash Series XL is taller, wider and has more padding than most models we’ve received so far thus it’s more ideal for large people so at least for them this is the obvious way to go. Overall thanks to its size, foam density and features the Flash Series XL gaming chair is actually a very good choice for large people which is why it gets our Golden Award.
