EWin Knight Series Ergonomic Computer Gaming Office Chair – Hardware Review

EWinRacing’s latest entry in the racing back gaming chair, is an affordable and extremely comfortable chair in a market saturated with gaming-oriented furniture. Comfortable and as classy as you can get in the gaming world while still being purpose-built, the Knight is a durable chair for the every-person gamer and though the model that I picked out is black with yellow highlights and the four face buttons of a PlayStation controller embroidered on the seat back, is still subtle enough that it doesn’t stick out the way most “gaming” furniture design do; if you’d like to see more on it, head on over to EWin’s website, but in the meantime, here are some of my thoughts on the E-Win Knight Series gaming chair.

First and foremost, huge shout out to the folks over at EWinRacing. When I first received the chair, which shipped in near-record time (only a two-day wait, which is spectacular as that’s in the realm of Amazon Prime shipping) I was a bit skeptical as the instructions that were sent were actually for the EWin Calling Series chair. Fortunately, a quick tweet and I had a PDF of the instruction manual within an hour, though not that one would need it; this chair is not only comfortable, but easy to build on account of it shipping in about 4 pieces. Even though the full color instructions (something I rarely see these days) were incorrect, EWin’s extremely fast response to the plight was reassuring that they stand behind their product, something not many “gaming” or “racing-back” chair manufacturers do (based on personal experience with three separate “gaming” chairs).

Assembly took about 20 minutes and then I was up and running (well, sitting) and like any new piece of furniture it needs a break-in period. Fortunately, with everything going on and there being a Stay At Home order in my State, the Knight was about to be broken in in record time. Over the past three weeks I have spent anywhere from 14 to 18 hours a day in the chair and am thrilled to report that one of my biggest concerns was unfounded. That concern? Durability.

In every sub-$250 gaming-oriented chat that I have owned, even under light usage, has started to break down within mere weeks of ordering; from the cushions simply breaking down to lifts and backrest angles simply breaking, every single one, with the exception of an AmazonBasics “executive” chair (that cost just shy of $200), have been duds. Even the AmazonBasics chair, while still being comfortable, squeaks and groans like no other when my slightly-under-weight 13-year-old daughter sits in it. The EWinRacing Knight series though? I’ve put this chair through its paces and the only issue I have found with it is that it seems to want to always gradually rotate to the left. Annoying at times, but generally not something I can tell until I’ve been at the computer for 8+ hours. Not exactly end of the world and minimal given the fact that the seat cushion, headrest, and lower lumbar support are all in top-notch condition.

Now, I’m not exactly a large guy nor am I a small one, but when the good folks at EWinRacing reached out to me with the opportunity to review the Knight series chair I was a little confused as to why they’d want my height and weight; I’ve bought plenty of articles of furniture (that’s lasted quite some time) without needing to divulge that I’m not only short, but slightly on the husky side, so I was a bit taken aback. The reason, come to find out, is because EWinRacing has specific lines tailored towards all manner of sizes so no matter the height/weight of the person looking into a chair, they will have you covered. This was, to me, a fairly not-so-subtle wake-up call that this is a manufacturer who is so confident in their product (with good reason) and so concerned with the comfort of their customers, that they’ve tailored brands for everyone, even though not everyone is built the same way.

As I was putting the seat together I was a little concerned that it seemed large, and even sitting in it for the first time I felt like I had extra space at my hips that I just wasn’t used to. After a week of using the Knight, I plopped my chonky tail-end in my AmazonBasics chair and felt damn-near claustrophobic. The Knight’s wide seat, flaring armrests, and broader backrest are so damned comfortable that you don’t realize it until you sit in a chair that prescribes to the “One Size Fits All” mantra and oh boy is it noticeable. More noticeable? That the leatherette has yet to stretch around the seams and that all of the cushions are still in pristine shape. I still cannot get over how nice the Knight looks after nearly 300 hours of constant abuse. If I didn’t know any better, I’d think that this chair was magicked into existence by the whimsical furniture gods, slapped with a sub-$250 price tag, and shipped out the door.

So, my final thoughts? In this day-and-age it is about making sure your money is well spent on durable products that are going to last while being faithfully supported by a company that truly values its customers. It is clear, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that the folks over at EWinRacing fit the bill and deserve all the praise that one can bestow. They have taken a style of chair that has really taken off these past few years, made it comfortable, durable, and classy, while staying within the bounds of general affordability and in doing so bypasses nearly every pitfall the saturated gaming furniture market has.

What is even better? The awesome folks over at EWinRacing have provided us with a discount code just for you to take a little off the top… and by “little” I’m talking a whopping 20% off your order!

Simply use the code: chalgyr at checkout and watch that price drop!

9.5

Special thanks to EWinRacing as a whole for approaching us with this opportunity to review the Knight; it’s a fantastic chair that I foresee being in my office for many years to come.

FAMILY GAMING ACCESSORY REVIEW – E-WIN RACING CHAIR

There is one universal truth regarding video games. It’s true whether you play on Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, or even old school consoles. You need a place to sit while you are playing.

I have been struggling with this problem for years. I like to sit closer to my television while playing (much to my wife’s chagrin) and I have tried all sorts of ways to do that. I’ve moved furniture. I’ve bought folding chairs. I have even resorted to sitting on the edge of my coffee table for short matches (trust me when I say that I ALWAYS regretted that decision).

Up until recently, the EFG office hasn’t been anywhere near my primary gaming area so using my office chair wasn’t really feasible. I DID start to use my desk chair… but it turns out that it was old, busted, and ready to fall apart. I was sad, and at one point repaired it with duct tape. That was all until E-wins came long.

We got our chair in red, too!

Putting It Together

We received their Knight racing chair partially unassembled, and in a giant cardboard box. (My daughter told me to thank them for the cool toy. She loved her spaceship.) It included relatively clear instructions, all of the requirement components and a pair of disposable gloves. Some of the pieces are pre-greased during assembly so the gloves helped keep my hands clean.

All in all, assembly was quick and painless. My older son helped where he could (He was helpful in balancing it a few times), but I would have been able to assemble it on my own without any real trouble. Frankly, anyone with any experience putting together a shelf or two from Ikea will have no problems.

Note: The only part that you NEED to be careful with is to make sure that you assemble the seat and hardware below it in the correct orientation.

The Chair Itself

The E-Win Racing Chair we received from from their Knight Series of Ergonomic Gaming chairs. This is a budget gaming chair with an MSRP of $289. This is a great value for a quality gaming chair.

Everyone in the home office has a different opinion. I’ll skip the boring trope of just listing them all out for the sake of being concise.

The Good

All of us appreciate the level of customization the chair offers. We vary in size from a spry seven year old to a 6 foot tall man who could probably afford to lose a few pounds. All of us are able to sit in the chair and adjust it to feel like our heads, necks, and backs are well supported.

We also found that this was a great chair for families that share equipment to use. This is because there are enough controls to adjust its position for comfort, but not enough that we need to reconfigure a dozen dials for each person.

The Bad

The only real complaint comes from my wife. She prefers her seats to have more cushion and the Knight chair is more firm than she is used to.

Conclusion

We’ve had this chair for a few weeks at this point and we are very happy with it. We’ve played on folding chairs, bean bags, couches, and even coffee tables. We’ll never play without a gaming chair at this point and I can’t imagine why we would choose anything other than an E-Win chair at this point. The product has been incredible.

If you want one for yourself you should head right on over to their website and pick one up!

EwinRacing Gaming Chair Review

The time we spend behind a computer screen has increased so much throughout the years. Some of us get up from our computer desks at work and go straight back behind one when we get home. Whether it’s streaming our favorite video games, recording a podcast, or making content videos, we spend a lot of time sitting. Even those of us who just casually play video games, it’s all about being comfortable while we sit for extended periods of time. Well, we are here to tell you, EwinRacing Gaming Chairs are here to make you as comfortable as you can for all that sitting.

EwinRacing has been in the gaming chair scene since 2016, where they were an OEM leader in office chair manufacturing. They continue to strive for a professionalization in the gaming chair field while focusing on a strict quality inspection process. The chairs have a heavy metal-based frame, padded with memory foam, and then coated with high quality, stain-resistant PU-leather. That means, with a clean cloth, this chair can be cleaned repeatedly without surface damage. The craftsman truly stands out with each chair that can be easily seen from start to finish.

The EwinRacing Gaming Chair showed up in a pretty big box. We had help getting it in the door and in the room for the unboxing. Getting everything out of the box only took a few minutes and to our surprise, the neck and lumbar support cushions were already attached to the backrest. Typically these come separate when ordering from other companies, and we thought it was a nice touch that EwinRacing had already put the cushions on where they needed to go. After getting everything laid out, set up and building the chair was pretty easy. Overall it took us a tad over twenty minutes to build the chair with just one person.

The only real trouble we had was getting the backrest attached to the seat of the chair, which is the most common complaint when putting together any Gaming Chair. It took us a few minutes to get the bolts lined up into the backrest, but we feel with a second person it would have made this much easier, as we know from experience. The trouble was trying to balance the back of the chair to sit in the brackets of the chair. A bit of a hiccup, but not much of an issue. After getting the two parts together, the rest of the chair assembly was easy. The wheels snapped into the five-star base, and then the hydraulic system into that. The seat then sat down on that and before we knew it, we were done.

First impressions after we stepped back at the newly put together masterpiece were amazing. The chair that was right for us, more about that later, was the EwinRacing Hero series. The chair looked great and the pop of color really caught our eye. Just seeing the picture online doesn’t do it justice as it does in person. You can clearly see the handmade craftsmanship that goes into each chair.

As if it wasn’t love at first sight as it was, we were in for a real treat when finally sitting down and trying it out. It had a nice firmness to it, but not too hard where it was going to be uncomfortable after a long sitting period. We were quite impressed with how well it fit our body. The lumbar cushion was already paying dividends minutes in as we could tell we were already sitting with a better posture than our last chair. We didn’t understand how great the neck cushion would be, and after a slight adjustment, it was a pleasant surprise. We jumped right into our first streaming session with it and we could instantly tell how much better this chair was than our last sitting arrangement. We weren’t constantly trying to move around and find the comfy spot. Once we found the sweet spot with the lumbar and neck cushions, we were more focused on the game instead of how uncomfortable we were at the present time.

We can happily say after a week of consistent use, those first impressions have stuck with us. When we’d finish up a long gaming session in our other chair, our neck and back would be in a bit of pain. Sometimes we’d find our self ending our sessions early because we didn’t want to sit anymore. After using the EwinRacing Gaming Chair on those same long sessions, we felt the same as we did when we first sat down. The way the cushions position you for sitting can not be understated. We never understood how important posture was until we used this chair as much as we have over the last week. We love to stream and now that we are comfortable for longer, we can keep doing our passion for extended periods of time.

EwinRacing has five different series to choose from over on their website, https://ewinracing.com. They claim that one size doesn’t fit all, as each series has a list of height and weight requirements to find that perfect chair for yourself. From the lower-priced Knight series, to the top end priced Flash series, EwinRacing offers a wide variety for weight, height, and price. No matter your selection, the same care for quality and customer satisfaction goes into each series of chair. Each chair comes with a five-year warranty on defects found in the material or workmanship and a ten-year warranty on the steel frame of the chair.

Overall, we couldn’t be more happy with this chair. It has helped extend our gaming sessions and has made them so much more comfortable. Though we have only used the Hero series chair, we feel confident in suggesting any EwinRacing Gaming Chair to fit your needs. You actually feel you are getting great value as nothing looks or feels cheap and you can really see the handmade craftsmanship. So if you are tired of shortening your gaming sessions because you just can’t sit anymore, then EwinRacing Gaming Chairs are the perfect thing for the cure. You will not be disappointed.

EWinRacing Gaming Chair Review and Benchmark

For years I have been using this chair:

1800s torture device? Random object stolen from an underfunded elementary school art class? Scrap metal and a few bits of wood shaped to hold a human, if that human was shaped exactly like a Lego person?

Whatever you’d call it, it’s my computer chair. Or at least it was. Until a few weeks ago, when I received an email containing the following phrase, underlined by myself for emphasis:

Why yes. I am highly professional. After fifteen years of doing this my efforts are finally being recognized.

The email came from a representative of EWinRacing, makers of fine gaming chairs. You know, the sort of chair you always see in Twitch streams, resembling something found in an F1 race car or a fighter pilot cockpit.

Was I interested in reviewing one of their chairs? I have never reviewed a gaming chair. I barely know how to review a game. So sure, why not! It’s time to show GamersNexus and Digital Foundry how objective, fact-based coverage is done.

Meet the EWinRacing CLC Ergonomic Gaming Chair.

The first thing I noticed while assembling this bad boy is that unlike literally every piece of furniture I already own it is sturdy and well-crafted. All of my other furniture falls apart when subjected to a nearby sneeze. You could sneeze in this gaming chair for a year straight, and the only thing that would fall apart would be your body.

This thing is legitimately solid. It’s less of a chair and more of a throne.

As our first benchmark demonstrates, you will have a hard time falling out of this chair. Its large frame envelops you in comfort. The armrests (which my previous chair didn’t even have) prevent you from accidentally sliding out sideways. The wings keep your shoulders in place during particularly intense sessions of Crusader Kings II.

I have very bad posture. If you looked at a silhouette of me using my computer, you’d assume something small and valuable fell on my keyboard and I was leaning down to look for it. To my genuine surprise, the CLC has corrected my posture. The chair’s back is so tall and so naturally angled that I find myself sitting up perfectly straight at all times. If the back of my head isn’t touching chair, I feel wrong and subconsciously straighten out.

If I had known these chairs could fix my lazy idiot spine I would have bought one chairs years ago.

Here we see where the EWinRacing gaming chair pulls ahead of the competition. This chair boasts a buttery smooth one chair per second (cps). There is no stuttering. There are no dropped frames. That chair rate is locked, meaning that as long as it exists the chair will consistently be one chair at any given second.

Go ahead and spin the chair as quickly as you can. Roll it back and forth in sudden movements. It will take your stress tests like a champ, and never dip below one chair per second.

Here’s where things get a little subjective. Replay value (also known as “bun factor”) is a measurement of how many times out of one hundred a user will sit back down in a given chair at some point in the future.

Every single time I have stood up from my EWinRacing CLC Ergonomic Gaming Chair, I have felt certain that I would be sitting down in it again. On several occasions I stood up just so I could experience the pleasure of sitting back down again. Compare that to my horrible old chair, which I avoided ninety nine times before reluctantly sitting in once.

Finally we move on to the most startling benchmark, which measures in-game performance:

Incredible.

As you can see I averaged one hundred frames per second while playing The Division 2 in my EWinRacing CLC Ergonomic Gaming Chair. That’s a massive 100% performance increase over my horrible old chair, which I stopped using before installing The Division 2.

If you care about gaming you can’t afford to pass up an extra one hundred frames per second.

Conclusion

The EWinRacing CLC Ergonomic Gaming Chair is our editor’s choice for 2020’s best gaming chair. It’s large and sturdy. It’s comfortable. It fixed my posture. It blows the competition away in every conceivable measurement of quality, which I thought up by myself.

EWIN RACING: KNIGHT SERIES GAMING CHAIR REVIEW

4.7

As a dedicated gamer, you spend countless hours lost in a virtual world. While you’re sitting, trapped behind a screen, you need to be as comfortable as ever to stay in the game. Posture and comfort are vital as you stay focused. Whether it’s competing in an online match, casually playing solo, or working on anything else, the chair you sit in determines the level of comfort you have and how long you can focus on the task at hand. The decision on what chair to buy is one of the hardest decisions to make. When looking at chairs, we immediately thought of 3 things: Style, Comfort, and Affordability. So, what kind of chair is out there that suits those 3 needs?

I am a guy with many back problems, and the old wooden barstool was not suited for me. There was no support for my back, nor was I able to lean back and relax. It was time for something new. After the countless amount of reviews read throughout the chair industry, I struggled finding “The one.” Taking a second shot browsing, one brand caught my eye. Reading the reviews, the comfort was there, the style was there, and the affordability was right in my budget. Ewin Racing provided me with everything I was looking for. So, I decided to snag one of their Knight Series gaming / office chairs, and man, was I excited.

After about 3 days, a massive package arrived at my door. It felt like Christmas in March, I was so excited. I was immediately astounded at how heavy the package was. It was known then, that this chair was going to be sturdy and well built. I couldn’t believe how well packaged the chair was. Everything was super protected to ensure nothing got damaged. Attached was a beautiful, laminated set of instructions that would walk me through about 20 minutes of easy assembly. They also provided me a nice pair of gloves! Once built, this monster stood out. It blew my mind on how good this gaming chair looked. One thing off my list checked, but does it fulfill my needs in terms of comfortability?

Throwing the barstool to the side, this new beast took its place. As soon as I sat down, I immediately felt like I was thrown on a cloud, it was THAT comfortable. The Ewin Knight Series chair comes with a comfortable head pillow for relaxation and one well designed lumbar support to keep me upright. At any time, I can move the pillow and lumbar support or remove them completely to ensure 100% comfort. Nothing on this chair felt cheap. The adjustable arm rests were well built, as well as the actual frame of the chair. You can easily tell that this gaming chair was built with a lot of TLC.

At the price of $269.00 (15% off if you use the promocode: TheTechGame), I can say that this chair is worth every cent. Now for that price, that is one cheap gaming chair. After a full week with the Knight Series chair, I can easily tell you that I am still as impressed as I was the day it arrived. Now, everything has it’s pros and cons. Here are mine:

Pros:
Easy to assemble.
Lumbar support.
Very comfortable.
Great product for what you pay for.

Cons:
Arm rests are not padded.
There is no wheel lock as I do roll around a bit.

Best gaming chair 2019: The best PC gaming chairs you can buy

If you spend hours gaming, good posture is vital: these chairs offer the support you need to stay fit and focused

Some gamers only value a powerful PC: a high-end graphics card, a fast internet connection and a big monitor are their touchstones. Yet you can’t be a true king of gaming without the right throne.

Of course, the joke in the gaming community is that a dedicated computer chair makes you a wannabe hacker, but don’t listen. A specialist seat can help you maintain a good posture, keep you comfortable and reduce strain and tension during long gaming sessions. That may not sound important, especially to younger gamers, but the last thing you want is an injury that affects your ability to work, rest and kick ass in PUBG or League of Legends.

But what should you look for? Here’s everything you need to know before making a purchase and, below, our top picks of 2019.

How to choose the best gaming chair for you

There are a few key elements that differentiate a gaming chair from a regular office chair. The most obvious is the aesthetics: most gaming chairs are designed to look cool, as if they’ve been plucked out of a race car or an oversized PC rig. They come in a variety of eye-catching colours so, if you’ve had your heart set on a bright orange chair, you may be in luck. Of course, there are more professional-looking designs, too. Aesthetics are subjective so pick whatever captures your heart.

Gaming chairs also come in a range of materials, from fabric to real and synthetic leather. Make the right choice: if you’re gaming in a hot room, a fabric chair might get uncomfortable. That’s not the case with a mesh-styled gaming chair or one that uses premium materials.

Chair size is another important consideration. Gaming chairs provide neck support, often with dedicated neck and lumbar pillows, so they’re comfortable to sit in for long periods. To get the benefit, though, you need a chair that’s the right size for your body. Pay close attention to the dimensions and check the height adjustment options.

For the snuggest fit, you may want to choose a car-seat style design, which will typically include thigh support side bolsters, along with waist and shoulder pads that resemble a racing seat.

E-Win Flash XL: Perfect for tall individuals

Being tall has its benefits: you can see over people’s heads and might be mistaken as ‘The Mountain’ from Game of Thrones. However, when it comes to gaming chairs your options are somewhat limited – not every chair will accommodate your tall frame and if you’ve been hitting the gym your body won’t fit in some of these bespoke narrow chairs. Alas, E-Win Europe’s Flash XL caters for such individuals.

The chair is supremely comfortable with cold moulding foam, has all the right adjustments and is wide, tall, large and strong enough, too. It has 4D armrests, a rocking mechanism (but with no angle lock), comes with lumbar and neck pillows and comes with a 5-year warranty. If you’re tall or well-built, the Flash XL is an excellent choice.

Key specs – Height adjustability: 12cm; Width of seat base (inner): 38-42cm; Length of backrest: 85cm; Width of backrest (total and inner): 57cm and 34cm; Backrest adjustability: 85-155°; Seat depth: 54cm; 4D armrest: Yes, lockable; Rocking mechanism:Yes up to 11° with no angle lock; Pillows: Yes, lumbar and neck; Maximum weight (user):150kg; Warranty: 5 years

E-Win Racing Champion Series Gaming Chair Review

As someone who spends a large portion of the day working at a computer, comfort is a huge factor for me when it comes to chairs. My chiropractor keeps telling me that my bed, pillow and computer chair are the most important purchases I can make, since that’s where I’m spending the majority of my time. I’ve suffered through cheap, awful chairs in the past, but as someone who suffers from arthritis and chronic pain, I need to take my long-term health into consideration.

My previous chair felt nice when you first sat in it, but over time you would slowly begin to slouch into weird positions that your back would hate you for later. I knew I needed something with lumbar and neck support, so when E-Win Racing contacted me about reviewing one of their chairs, I jumped at the chance. Their Champion series ergonomic gaming office chair looked like exactly what I needed, and so they sent a unit out for me to test.

The box that arrived was massive and quite heavy, which I took as a sign that it’s tough and durable. This particular model, CP-BB3F, comes in a variety of colors, but I received the black version, which looks sleek and stylish but not gaudy and ostentatious like some gaming chairs I’ve seen. The chair was well-packed with plenty of bubble wrap and arrived without any damage. The assembly was quite straightforward, and the package even comes with a pair of white gloves to prevent staining the chair during assembly. Top marks for that!

I’ve never sat in a gaming chair before this, so I didn’t know what to expect. When the whole thing was assembled and I took a seat in it for the first time, I was amazed by the level of comfort, and how my posture seemed to almost immediately improve. The two adjustable pillows for the neck and lower back have a nice firmness that helps to take the pressure off of your neck and spine, which meant that I was able to get work done at my desk and play games for longer periods without excessive pain. The breathable material of the cushions worked well to prevent sweating on hot days. The only negative aspect that I’ve found so far is the wheels – they don’t work very well on carpet and it can be hard to move the chair around your space while you’re sitting in it.

The Champion has a very roomy feel to it, and its armrests are very adjustable. You can easily turn them outward or inward, as well as farther back or more towards the front. The gas lift allows you to raise and lower the chair about 4 inches, and the back tilt function allows you to tilt the chair back all the way to 180 degrees, which is nice for watching movies and TV or playing on your phone or tablet. I like that it has all of these options so that you’re not just locked into one position for many hours straight. I also really like the high back of the chair and the side cushions that support the upper back and shoulders.

I’ve used the E-Win Champion gaming chair for about two weeks now, and I have to say that I am very impressed by the quality and comfort of this product. I no longer feel as much pain and achiness when working or gaming for long hours, and my chiropractor approves of the lumbar and neck support so that I’m not undoing all of his hard work. The E-Win Champion has a lot of great features, solid build quality and the best comfort I’ve experienced in any chair, gaming or otherwise. The $299 asking price of this model may put some off, but this is a classic example of getting what you pay for. If you think of it as investing in your long-term spine health and your everyday comfort, I say it’s definitely worth the money. Your back will thank you for it.

E-WIN CHAMPION SERIES GAMING CHAIR REVIEW

E-WIN Champion Series Racing Chair

It wasn’t all that long ago that Steve took a look at one of E-Win’s Champion Series PC gaming chairs and now, I’m going back for a look at a slightly different version of the chair turned at least one of our team into a “chair snob”.

Originally an OEM furniture manufacturer, E-Win Racing has been around for a few years now. Since 2016 they’ve been wheeling chairs into our homes and offices that will certainly get you noticed. As Steve pointed out in his review of the all black Champion chair, E-Win’s prior experience is hardly limited to the gaming market, so they really ought to know a few things about keeping people comfy. Four series of chairs are already available to suit a variety of players. These include the Champion, Calling, Hero, and Flash Series.

The Champion line of chairs comes in at $289.00/€249.00/£221 with some mild variation based on design choice. My particular test sample currently retails for £249 on E-Win’s official site. This lands a substantial discount when compared to something like the Noble Epic. While this particular model might be part of the same line as Steve’s previous Champion series review, there are a few noticeable differences.

SPECIFICATION

  • SKU: Champion Series/CP-BOW3D
  • 4D Adjustable Poly Urethane Arm Rests
  • PU Leather
  • Height Adjustable
  • 120MM Class 4 Gas Lift – good up to 330lbs (150 kg)
  • Cold Molding Foam
  • Aluminum 5-star wheelbase
  • Steel chair frame
  • Tilt Lock and Tilt Control Mechanism
  • Lever Operated Back Recliner
  • 20.9in (53cm) wide by 22in (56cm) deep by 36.6in (93cm) high seating
  • Seating adjustable angle 85 degrees to 155 degrees
  • 360-degree swivel
  • Protective caster wheels
  • Neck and lumbar pillows

Getting this monster dumped on your front doorstep is a little intimidating for anybody who’s not had an opportunity to put together a gaming chair before. Thankfully, E-Win impressed right out the box. The Champion Series is packed with a fairly minimal amount of superfluous wrapping. Instead, you’ll find the chair is snugly fitted into the accompanying package, and extremely easy to extract. Anything smaller than the base is boxed away to prevent a side quest to find the correct screw head. Components are correctly parcelled into appropriate packages and E-Win even throw in a pair of rubber tipped gloves to make things a little easier to handle. The forethought E-Win put into the packaging speaks volumes about the way the Champion series is built and makes the assembly as painless as it could be, even for an IKEA-phobe.

After around 15 minutes you should find the E-Win series up and running. Putting the pieces of this chair together is, in my experience, simple enough and the result feels satisfyingly solid. A total of ten hex headed screws are all that is needed, alongside a little lifting, to put complete the Champion series build. The entire frame is intended to hold up to 150KG, so handles my paltry frame of around 60KG without any issue. Putting my own posterior down, this E-Win chair feels roomier than I’ve become accustomed to, even compared to other gaming chairs. The Champion series is not the largest chair on the market. It is not even the biggest seat in E-Win’s own range but it is still sufficiently generous to accommodate my 180cm frame easily. While other furniture sometimes falls a little short when it comes to my back and neck, the E-Win Champion series is tall enough that it always provides a level of functional support, especially when compared to more entry-level options.

The addition of a lumbar support and adjustable neck cushion to the E-Win Champion is another nice touch that elevates the series above my own personal comparisons and entry-level chairs. These cushions are fully adjustable, or removable if you need to readjust them. Cushions might sound like an unnecessary option but they are an addition that I didn’t even know I needed until I had them. The Champion series neck cushion is not the only adjustable area of this gaming chairs The 4D movement of the attached armrests allows gamers to elevate, slide, and rotate the armrests to a silly number of configurations. The rotation, in particular, of these attachments, allows them to do more than just go up and down or forward and back. It gives me real room to get the Champion Gaming chair where I actually want it, rather than settling for where it best fits among my desk clutter.

As if that wasn’t quite enough choice, E-Win has included a reclining feature to the Champion series that allows it to throw back anywhere from 85 to 155 degrees. That’s pretty much enough to sleep on if you so wish. From a functional standpoint, this gives the E-Win room to recline to your own preference and utilizing the reclining feature is as simple as pulling a lever located on the side of the chair. It’s simple and safe. All the moving component are guarded by chair’s side covers and the entire thing feels solid when you kick back. Let’s be clear though, 155 degrees is an extreme and nobody needs a chair that they can sleep on. However, I really could take a quick nap on this if I felt like it.

The E-Win Champion series gaming chair is an impressive piece of kit. The chair’s cold molded foam and multi cushion design create a wrap around that provide support from every direction. The quality of the material and stitching here feel as solid as the steel frame, while the configuration options are excellent. Construction was easy, while some impressive design and packaging features meant that I didn’t waste my day deciphering instructions. All in, and the color aside, E-Win continue to produce a line of chairs that impress for the price. While this might not come with the street cred of a Noble, you’re going to be indoors. If you want a quality gaming chair that will let you kick back in front of your rig then the E-Win Champion series is it.

Pros

  • Solid Construction
  • Very easy to put together
  • 4D armrests are a great addition

Cons

  • Not for tiny spaces
  • Reclining feature is probably a little more than is required
  • This particular color option isn’t going to win any fashion awards

Review: Just in Time for E3 – E-Win Gaming Chair!

It’s the most exciting time of year for gamers as E3 is in full swing. New game announcements, surprises, trailers, and more are taking the internet by storm.

But to get ready for all these excellent new games coming out you might be needing a new gaming chair and Ewin Racing has some great models for you to marathon game in.

Previously, we reviewed another gaming chair from OPSEAT and in many ways the E-win chair we received is very similar.  The designs are a lot alike, the components and set up are all similar. But, to be honest, E-win has a slight edge. It’s more comfortable.

The Championship series chair we have is fully adjustable in nearly any way you can think of. It’s got a steal frame, adjustable height, reclining back, and an uber comfie cold molded high density memory foam chair. I think that’s the key to the comfort. I didn’t even realize it but I had been sitting in it for more than a few hours.

The chair have is orange which I was not so sure about as I’m not the biggest fan of that color but honestly? It looks great. Besides that, there are several different colors to choose from so you’re likely to find whatever suits your fancy.

I really love the chair and definitely recommend checking these offerings out if you are in the market for a new gaming chair. It’s really comfortable, looks great, and is perfect for long term gaming sessions.

Right now for E3, EWIN is running a 20% off special using code E3. Alternatively just click the banner at the upper right and use code PCB for 10% off if the E3 offer has ended.

I really love this chair and have been using it constantly. At the end of the day it’s going to boil down to your preferences, price, design, etc. Go with what you like but to be honest, I really don’t think you can go wrong with any of the E-Win Racing Gaming Chairs.
